An important meeting of the BJP's State Core Committee is being held in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Many big leaders of the state are present along with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the meeting. This meeting will go on for the next three days, in which 42 assembly seats will be churned. The seats on which BJP is churning in Gujarat today include the seats of Morbi and Rajkot districts. Along with this, the seats of Sabarkantha, Banaskantha, Narmada, Tapti are being discussed. The Election Commission has announced the dates for the assembly elections to be held in Gujarat. Voting will be held here on December 1 and 5 and counting of votes will be done on December 8.
There are total 182 assembly seats in Gujarat. This meeting is being held regarding the distribution of tickets on these seats. It is reported that a panel of three names has been formed. The names will be shortlisted and then placed before the BJP's Central Election Committee. BJP is ruling the state for the last 27 years. Therefore, the challenge before him is to save the fort. In such a situation, the party can also do retrenchment of tickets on a large scale.
