According to the Ministry of External Affairs, recently 9 citizens of Bangladesh have been rescued from Ukraine under Operation Ganga. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has thanked PM Modi for rescuing the citizens of Bangladesh. Government sources said that Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has thanked PM Modi.
Earlier, Asma Shafiq, a Pakistani student trapped in Ukraine under Operation Ganga, has also been rescued by the Government of India. Asma Shafiq has praised the Government of India and PM Modi. Asma is going to meet her family soon. Asma said, 'I want to thank the Indian Embassy in Kyiv. The Indian Embassy has supported us even in difficult situations. I would also like to thank the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Hopefully we will reach home safely because of the Indian embassy.
