Gold and Silver Rates Today: On the third consecutive day of Union Budget 2024, the gold prices in India today, July 24 recorded a slight decrease from yesterday's prices.

The piece of 22-carat gold per gram is priced at Rs 6,494 while the 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 7,085 per gram.

Meanwhile, the 22-carat gold price per 10 grams is valued at Rs 64,940 and 24-carat gold today is valued at Rs 70,850 per 10 grams.

After the Union Budget was announced on Tuesday, gold prices all over India were slashed by Rs 4,000 because of the reduction of 15 to 6 percent in customs duty imposed on gold.

In MCX, the gold futures maturing on August 5 are trading at Rs 67,968 per 10 gm which is down by 1.73 % while silver futures maturing on September 5 are trading at Rs 81,661 per kilogram which is down by 4.26%.

Furthermore, the silver price today, July 25 costs Rs 87,500 per kilogram.

The gold price in Kolkata for 22 carat is priced at Rs 6,494 per gram, the 10-gram of gold is priced at Rs 64,950, and the 24-carat gold price in Kolkata is valued at Rs 7,085 per gram however, the gold price per 10 grams costs Rs 70,860.
