Former NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede received death threats, complaint lodged with police

Sameer Wankhede, former Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai has received death threats. Wankhede has lodged a complaint regarding this matter with Goregaon Police in Mumbai. According to Sameer Wankhede, a fake Twitter account has been threatening to kill him for the past several days.

Former zonal director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and senior IRS officer Sameer Wankhede is receiving death threats. According to the information, ever since Sameer Wankhede got a clean chit from the Cast Scrutiny Committee, he has been receiving death threats through social media. On Thursday, he has given a complaint about this matter to the Goregaon Police of Mumbai.

Sameer Wankhede told that since coming back from Delhi recently, he is being threatened with death by a fake Twitter account named 'Aman'. His wife is also receiving similar threats. This is the reason why he has approached the police only in view of the safety of the family and children.

Sameer Wankhede had also filed a police case against former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik. At the same time, Sameer Wankhede, who reached the office of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes in Delhi, had told that his family has suffered a lot since the wrong allegations were made against him. He says that now the death threats cannot be taken lightly.

It is worth mentioning that when Sameer Wankhede was the zonal director of Mumbai NCB, he arrested Aryan Khan, son of actor Shahrukh Khan by raiding a cruise. Although Aryan later got a clean chit, former Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik had leveled serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede.
