Players of the Iranian football team refused to sing their national anthem during their World Cup group stage match against England on Monday in support of an anti-government protest. Iran has been witnessing massive anti-government protests following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody in September. At least 150 people have died there so far.
