Exclusive STRANGER THINGS, THE WITCHER-themed merchandises will now be available on Netflix online store
According to a blog post, the e-store would sell "carefully chosen high-quality fashion and lifestyle goods" tied to Netflix's series on a regular basis. Notably, the T-shirts and other products designed by Netflix fans have been available for years.
Netflix has finally launched its first owned-and-operated retail location, Netflix.shop, to offer items and accessories inspired by its series. According to a blog post, the e-store would sell "carefully chosen high-quality fashion and lifestyle goods" tied to Netflix's series on a regular basis. Netflix, like some of its rivals (such as Hulu and HBO Max), does not run ads and instead relies on its more than 200 million global users to pay monthly fees. And that's where Netflix.shop made its first appearance in this category.
Netflix's online shop, according to the VP of consumer goods, Josh Simon, will sell exclusive The Witcher and Stranger Things-themed merchandise with logos from both of these shows, as well as new Netflix logo-wear from BEAMS, a Japanese fashion house.
Reportedly, this month, streetwear and action figures based on the anime programmes Yasuke and Eden, as well as limited-edition clothes and luxury decorative items inspired by Lupin, a French thriller series, will be available on the online shop, in association with Musee du Louvre.
For the store's opening, the business will reveal a variety of anime-themed collectibles. Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites, and Jordan Bentley, three up-and-coming designers, will design these collectibles.
Furthermore, Stranger Things and Money Heist merchandise will be available on the online store in the coming months.
Netflix.shop is the streaming giant's latest e-commerce initiative, after the introduction of Shopify. Customers in the United States will be the first to use the site, with additional regions following in the coming months. In addition, Netflix has licencing partnerships with Target, Walmart, Amazon, H&M, Sephora, and other stores for a variety of goods based on its original programmes.
Notably, the T-shirts and other products designed by Netflix fans have been available for years.
