DPCC president exposes Delhi CM’s claim on 10 lakh jobs generation for youths in Delhi
Referring to a response under the Right to Information Act in which the Delhi government has admitted that, only 440 jobs had been generated in the last 7 years, Kumar questioned Kejriwal’s claim of offering 10 lakh jobs in Delhi.
Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Ch. Anil Kumar has alleged that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has misled the people of Uttarakhand by distorting the data on the employment generation in his state.
Referring to a response under the Right to Information Act in which the Delhi government has admitted that, only 440 jobs had been generated in the last 7 years, Kumar questioned Kejriwal’s recent statement in which he had claimed that 10 lakh jobs were offered to unemployed youths in Delhi.
He also asked what happened to the 8 lakh jobs that the Delhi CM had promised in his election manifesto to the youth of Delhi in the five years?
Kumar said in a press statement that CM Arvind had been touring Assembly poll-bound States like Uttarakhand, and promising everything free, including unemployment allowance to youth, and Rs 1000 monthly pension to women, but wondered why he was not giving unemployment allowance to the unemployed of Delhi, as the national Capital, under the AAP Government, has the highest number of unemployed youths in the country
He said that instead of making such hollow promises in other States, CM should first fulfil the 10-point guarantee he had given to Delhiites.
Kumar alleged that after the Aam Aadmi Party Government came to power in Delhi seven years ago, corruption has hit sky-high, while Delhi has become “No 1” in not only unemployment, but also air pollution, infections like dengue and Corona, crimes against women, and a liberalized Excise Policy to ruin the youth.
According to Kumar, if Kejriwal implements many freebies that he promised in other States, the entire budget of States like Uttarakhand and Goa will fall short, which makes it abundantly clear that Arvind was just playing vote bank politics to fool the people of these States, and not with any good intentions
