Reopening schools in Delhi - Delhi schools would reopen for all after Diwali - DDMA
All the government and private schools in Delhi for classes 9th to 12th were allowed to reopen on 1st September and the rest of all the classes will begin after Diwali.
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority in its meeting today decided to reopen schools for junior classes after Diwali. The DDMA maintained that the Covid situation in Delhi is good but precautions must be followed. It was decided during the meeting that schools for the rest of the classes will be opened after Diwali.
All the government and private schools in Delhi for classes nine to 12 were opened on 1st September by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority. Festivals like Ramleela, Dussehra, and Durga Puja were allowed with proper procedures like social distancing and wearing masks.
