A case of rape with an air hostess has come to light in Mehrauli area of South Delhi. Police said on Monday that one of his acquaintances along with the air hostess raped him at home. The name of the accused is Harjeet Yadav and he is a resident of Khanpur. Harjeet is also the block president of a political party in the area. Accused has been arrested. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Chandan Choudhary said that a PCR call was received at Mehrauli police station regarding rape on Sunday and when the police reached the spot, the victim told that Harjeet came to her house in an inebriated state and raped her.
Police said that the victim somehow locked the accused in the room and then called the helpline number 112. According to the air hostess, she knew Harjeet for about a month and a half.
