Seven people have died and many have been injured. The blast took place in the Tatarpur police station area. Bhagalpur Collector Subrata Kumar Sen said that two houses were damaged due to the blast. The case is being investigated. The incident took place near the orphanage in Kajvalichak area.
According to the information, the incident took place at the house of victims' family at 11.30 pm on Thursday. The explosion was so powerful that the two-storey house was blown up. The magnitude of the explosion can be gauged from the fact that the people present in the house coming within a radius of four kilometers from the spot felt earthquake-like tremors. After the blast, a huge crowd gathered in the entire area. Due to this the situation had to be handled by deploying police force.
