Alerted by the increasing cases of Covid in China and America, the Union Health Secretary has written a letter to the governments of Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra and Mizoram as well as Haryana considering it sensitive. In this, the Health Secretary has asked to increase vigilance and seriously investigate the reasons for the increase in the rate of infection.
In Haryana, where 41 patients were found and active cases were 290 on March 30, 87 new infected were found on Saturday, taking the number of active cases to 363. During this period, the daily infection rate has increased from 0.33 percent to 1.47 percent.
There are few active cases in eight districts. Gurugram tops the list with a weekly infection rate of 3.30 per cent, which is the highest in northern India except in Rajasthan's Pali. In the state, Faridabad is second with 2.38 percent infection rate and Fatehabad is at number three with 1.23 percent infection rate.
