Covid 19 Updates : 13,079 Covid cases were found on the previous day, the highest since February 24

Corona cases are increasing continuously in the country. On Friday, 13,079 new infected have been confirmed in the country. This figure is the biggest since February 24. 13,166 cases were registered. A day before this, 12,847 cases were found on Thursday. From June 13 to 17, more than 50 thousand cases have been reported in the country. 

At the same time, if we talk about those who died, 23 people have lost their lives in the country in the last 24 hours. Earlier on June 9, 24 people died due to coronavirus. With this, the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment in the country has increased to 66,701, this figure was 61,738 a day earlier.

On Friday, 1,797 new corona cases were found in the capital Delhi and one patient died. A day before this, 1,323 cases were found here on Thursday and 1,375 on Wednesday. In this context, there has been an increase of 474 i.e. 35% in new cases in just one day. Here the number of active cases i.e. patients undergoing treatment has increased to 4,843 which was 3,948 a day earlier on Thursday.

The positivity rate in the capital Delhi has also increased to 8.18%, which was 6.69% a day earlier. Here 901 people defeated Corona on the last day. In the last 24 hours, 21,978 Kovid samples were tested here. Between June 10 and 15, more than 5,300 challans have been issued across Delhi and a fine of over Rs 26 lakh has been imposed on violators of the COVID norms.
