Covid 19 Update: More than 17 thousand new cases in the country found in the last 24 hours

17,092 new cases of Covid-19 in India, the total number of infection cases has increased to 4,34,86,326. According to the Union Health Ministry till 8 am on Saturday, the death toll has risen to 5,25,168 after 29 patients lost their lives. According to the data, the number of active patients has increased to 1,09,568, which is 0.25 percent of the total cases of infection whereas the national rate of recovery of Covid-19 patients is 98.54 percent.

According to the ministry, an increase of 2,379 new cases has been registered in the number of active patients in the last 24 hours. The daily infection rate was 4.14 percent and the weekly infection rate was 3.56 percent. The number of people recovering from this disease has increased to 4,28,51,590 while the death rate has reached 1.21 percent. So far 197.84 crore people have got the corona vaccine.

According to the data, out of 29 patients who lost their lives in the country in the last 24 hours, 15 were from Kerala. Four patients have died in Maharashtra, three in Delhi, two in Punjab and one each in Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Gujarat, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
