Delhi Pradesh congressional committee chairman Ch Anil Kumar said widespread corruption in Delhi pollution control centers under the Aam Aadmi party regime in Delhi endangered the lives of residents of the capital by issuing pollution readiness certificates for exclusive vehicles at a price as low as as Rs 100 to Rs 30, without performing the mandatory tests. He said the Delhi Congress insisted that vehicle pollution was the main reason for the toxic air in Delhi, which was killing people, and not stubble burns or other sources of pollution such as emissions from power plants, industrial pollutants, dust from construction sites and cracker epidemic during Deepawali.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that a sting operation has exposed the corruption within the Pollution management Centres, underneath the city Transport Department, that problems fitness certificates to vehicles without any tests, even for vehicles which have outlived their life span of fifteen years. Ch. Anil Kumar said that just like the BJP-ruled Municipal corporations of Delhi, the Arvind Government in Delhi is deeply enmeshed in corruption, as no work gets dodged bribing Chief Minister Arvind and his agents. He said that corruption was all-pervading in all the Ministries and Departments of the city Government, as well as within the purchase and maintenance of buses for the Delhi Transport Corporation.
Ch. Anil Kumar said that there looks to be a conspiracy between the Arvind Government and also the BJP in keeping the Yamuna water impure throughout the Chhath Puja time, as Chief Minister Arvind, because of his antipathy toward the individuals of Poorvanchal, didn't need them to celebrate their most vital church festival on the Yamuna stream banks Chhat Ghats, and the BJP Governments in Haryana and province had duty-bound him by cathartic ammonia-laden water to the Yamuna.
