Corona cases increase by 20% in a week in the world, WHO warns

The threat of corona pandemic is not over yet. In the last one week, there has been an humungous rise of 20% in the cases of Corona worldwide. The WHO further warned that with the increase in the cases of corona, the risk of the arrival of new variants has also incremented.

Experts say that each infection gives the virus a chance to mutate, while Omicron is spreading so fast that it has created an environment for the new variant. It is dodging natural immunity as well as vaccine and infecting people.

Experts say that the new variants will be mild or more serious, nothing can be said about it right now. In such a situation, it would not be correct to say that the corona pandemic is now moving towards endemic.
