Congress's Okram Ibobi, who has been CM for three times, is getting tough competition in Manipur
The Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be getting a majority in Manipur. BJP candidates are leading in 28 seats. The Congress, on the other hand, has maintained a lead in only eight seats.
Counting is on the way for 40 seats in Goa and 60 in Manipur. Goa went to polls in a single phase on February 14, while Manipur went to polls in two phases on February 28 and March 5. A total of 265 candidates were in the fray in both the phases in Manipur, while 301 candidates were in the fray for 40 seats in Goa. In Manipur and Goa, the BJP seems to be moving closer to the majority.
In Goa, BJP is leading in 18 seats. Congress candidates are leading in 13 seats. Apart from this, the TMC alliance is leading in five seats.

Aam Aadmi Party candidate Amit Palekar has slipped to the third position in the trends from St. Cruz seat of Goa. Congress candidates are leading here. Whereas the BJP candidate is running at number two.
Congress candidate and three-time Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh is facing tough competition from the BJP candidate from Thoubal seat. BJP candidate L. Basanta Singh is trailing by only 800 votes from him.
