Complete curfew in Khargone, decision taken after a long meeting

After a long meeting of various social representatives and peace committee with the high officials and local officials of Indore, it was decided at around 9 pm on Monday that the city would be completely closed on Tuesday.

The members involved in the earlier meetings told that there is talk of opening shops for some time on Tuesday. Many people objected to this. On Monday night, several members of the peace committee on the Internet media offered to resign and protested the relaxation of curfew on Tuesday.

There was a lot of confusion for the administration regarding the festival of Eid along with Akshay Tritiya and the manifestation of Lord Parshuram on Tuesday. It took a lot of effort to decide whether Tuesday should be kept closed or some relaxation should be given. While on Monday, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma and IG Rakesh Gupta were also present at the district headquarters. Earlier on Monday too much effort was made in deciding whether to relax the curfew or not.

Several members of the peace committee on Monday night protested the decision through internet media and also offered to resign from the committee. People were of the opinion that even if relaxations were given by the administration, they would keep their establishments closed.
