CNG Price Hike : CNG becomes costlier by Rs 4 per kg in Mumbai, PNG prices rise by Rs 3 per unit
With this increase, the price of CNG in and around Mumbai has gone up by Rs 4 to Rs 80 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 3 to Rs 48.50 per unit.
The prices of CNG and PNG have increased in Mumbai. Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) on Tuesday once again announced an increase in the retail prices of CNG in Mumbai. This time the price of CNG has been increased by Rs 4 per kg. Along with this, the price of piped natural gas (PNG) has been increased by Rs 3 per standard cubic meter (per unit).
The gas distributor company said that the reason for the continuous increase in prices is due to rise in gas prices and depreciation of rupee. The company is actually procuring gas from the foreign market to meet the shortfall in domestic gas allocation.
With this increase, the price of CNG in and around Mumbai has gone up by Rs 4 to Rs 80 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 3 to Rs 48.50 per unit.
