Petrol and diesel prices rose for two consecutive days Tuesday and Wednesday across the country. Petrol and diesel prices rose by 80 paise in Delhi and 85 paise in Mumbai on Wednesday. After this increase, petrol becomes cheapest ie Rs 84.30 per liter and diesel at Rs 78.52 in Andaman and Port Blair of Nicobar. Meanwhile, the most expensive petrol is priced at Rs 114.80 and diesel at Rs 97.44 per liter in Parbhani, Maharashtra.
On Tuesday, along with 80 paise per liter in diesel-petrol prices, the price of domestic gas cylinders was also increased by Rs 50. Due to rising crude oil prices in the international market due to Russia-Ukraine war, oil companies are under pressure to increase the prices of petrol and diesel. In such a situation, in the coming days, petrol and diesel can be expensive by up to Rs 20 per litre.
