Central government's big decision on COVID Booster dose
The government order dated April 21 said that the same vaccine, which was used for the earlier vaccine dosage, would be given as a pre-cautionary dose.
The central government has approved to reduce the difference between the second and booster dose of corona vaccine for those traveling abroad. According to this, travelers traveling abroad can take a booster dose after 90 days i.e. 3 months after the second dose.
Delhi Government has announced that pre-cautionary doses will be available free of cost to all eligible beneficiaries in the age group of 18 to 59 years at all Government COVID-19 Vaccination Centers (CVCs).
As per the order, beneficiaries with a verified vaccination certificate can avail free doses without registering on the Co-Win app. However, the government order states that the provision of paid pre-containment doses in private COVID-19 vaccination centers will continue. In the statement of the Delhi government, Health Minister Satyendar Jain was quoted as saying that prevention is better than treatment. Those who have not yet taken the vaccine or have only taken the first dose, they should visit their nearest health center as soon as possible.
