Cattle collided with Vande Bharat Express train again in Gujarat

Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Superfast Express collided with cattle near Atul station in Gujarat on Saturday morning, a railway official said. Due to this the train was delayed by 20 minutes in reaching the destination. Railway sources said that the front panel of the train was damaged due to this incident.
This is the third incident of cattle colliding with a high-speed train in this month, the official said. The accident happened around 8.20 in the morning. However, there was no operational damage to the train. Chief Public Relations Officer of Railways Sumit Thakur said that all the passengers on the train are safe. Only the front bogie part of the train has been damaged.
On October 6, the first bogie of Vande Bharat Superfast Express was damaged due to the collision of four buffaloes. It had to be replaced overnight after a fault in its nose panel. This accident also happened between Vatva and Maninagar railway stations in Gujarat. Just a day after this accident, on October 7, a cow was hit by Vande Bharat Superfast Express near Anand, Gujarat.
