Cases fell for the fifth consecutive day in Delhi, Active cases spanned 18 lakhs in the country

Till 7 pm on Tuesday, 1 lakh 14 thousand 211 new cases have been found in the country. During this time 177 people died and 43,086 patients were cured. Although the total active cases in the country has crossed 18 lakhs. At present, the total number of active cases is 18 lakh 1 thousand 455.

For the fifth consecutive day, there was a decline in daily cases in Delhi, while 193 cases were found more in Mumbai than on Monday.

Delhi has reported 11,684 new Covid cases and 38 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate during this period stood at 22.47%. Active cases remain 78,112 in the capital. Cases have been decreasing continuously in Delhi since January 13. The National Capital recorded 28,867 new cases on January 13 and 24,343 on January 14, 20,718 on January 15, 18,286 on January 16 and 12,527 on January 17.
