Bharat Jodo Yatra: Today is the 35th day of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi started from Challakere Town
The Congress leader said he did not agree with the idea of large-scale privatization of government properties. If voted to power, his party will not allow privatization of public sector undertakings (PSUs). Rahul Gandhi said that if voted to power, his party will formulate a strategy both at the national and state levels, which will ensure employment for the youth.
Today is the 35th day of Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra. Rahul Gandhi's Pad Yatra is presently present in Karnataka. Today Rahul Gandhi has started his journey from Challakere Town of Chitradurga. During this, Rahul Gandhi was seen meeting the local people and was seen talking to them. This journey, which started from Kanyakumari on 7th September, has covered a distance of 905 km so far. It will pass through a total of 12 states and will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
Rahul's padyatra in Karnataka will be for 21 days. During this, Congress leaders and workers will visit different areas and villages of the state and meet people. On Thursday, Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi also joined the yatra. During this, some emotional moments were also seen in which Rahul Gandhi was seen tying his mother's shoe laces.
Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday walked with the families of organ donors to emphasize the importance of organ donation. The party said around 30 'Bharat Yatris', who were marching along with the former Congress president, have pledged to donate. The organ donors, whose family members accompanied Rahul Gandhi, included National Film Award winning Best Actor Sanchari Vijay, who died in a motorcycle accident. Rakshitha, a PUC student from Chikkamagaluru district, who suffered a head injury after falling from a bus and Ved Manjunath met with an accident on the Hubli-Dharwad bypass highway.
