Bengaluru man tried to smuggle red sandalwood in 'Pushpa Style'

The movie " Pushpa " was a blockbuster this year. South superstar Allu Arjun's recently released film 'Pushpa' has made everyone crazy about it. Not only the songs of the film, but people are copying the trend from dialogue to action. This film was released in the last month of the year 2021 and with the release it exploded.

In Bangalore, a person tried to smuggle red sandalwood. Yasin Enayathulla was smuggling red sandalwood in his truck on his way to Maharashtra from the Karnataka-Andhra border. When he crossed the border, the Maharashtra Police caught him at Gandhi Chowk in Meraj Nagar in Sangli district.

Police seized sandalwood worth Rs 2.45 crore along with his truck worth Rs 10 lakh. Giving details about the incident, Sangli Superintendent of Police Dixit Gedam said, “We had received confidential information about illegal transportation of sandalwood. Based on this tip-off, we started a joint operation with forest officials and raided the Zakat Nakka.
