Bank Holidays March 2022: There are many festivals like Shivratri, Holi in the month of March, due to which there will be no work in the banks for the whole 13 days in March.

13 days holidays in March The list of bank holidays is issued by RBI, in which the details of holidays of all the months are given. The 13-day holidays in March also include 4 Sundays. Apart from this, the list of holidays is state wise.

1 - On account of Mahashivratri on March 1, except Agartala, Aizawl, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Imphal, Kolkata, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna and Shillong Banks will remain closed in places
2 - Banks will remain closed in Gangtok on 3rd March due to Losar.
3 - 4th March Banks will remain closed in Aizawl due to Chapchar Kut.
4 - 6th March is a weekly holiday due to Sunday .
5 - March 12 is Saturday i.e. the second Saturday of the month, due to which banks will be closed.
6 - On March 13, due to Sunday, there will be no work in banks.
7 - Due to Holika Dahan on March 17, Dehradun, Kanpur, Lucknow And Banks are closed in Ranchi
8 - Banks are closed on 18th March due to Holi/Dhuleti/Dol Jatra in other places except Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram.
9 - Holi on 19th March / Banks closed in Bhubaneswar, Imphal and Patna due to Yaosang
10-  It is Sunday on 20th March. 
 11 - Banks are closed in Patna on 22nd March due to Bihar Day.
12 - 26th March is Saturday i.e. fourth Saturday of the month
