Baba Siddique Net Worth 2024: A Glimpse Into His Wealth, Luxury Cars, and Assets

Baba Siddique Net Worth 2024: Baba Ziauddin Siddique, a politician and social worker, was shot dead last night in Bandra. The multiple gunshot incident happened around 11:30 pm. The 66 year old leader, also known as Baba Siddique, was from Bihar. Siddique was a big time politician and social worker and was famous for his high profile and big bashes.

According to his election affidavit, Siddique had assets worth Rs 76 crore. But the exact amount of his wealth is not clear. In 2018, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had seized 33 properties of him worth Rs 462 crore. These included 33 flats in Mumbai linked to corruption and money laundering in slum rehabilitation schemes.

His assets were mainly from real estate, luxury cars and valuable assets like gold and jewellery. His properties included commercial properties, agricultural plots and residential properties across Mumbai.

Siddique’s affidavit listed a range of movable assets including cash, bank deposits and investments in various companies. He had a penchant for luxury cars and owned a Mercedes-Benz. His gold and diamond jewellery was worth around Rs 30 crore.

Siddique started his political career in 1977 when he joined Congress party, first with National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) and then with Youth Congress. He was elected as a municipal corporator in Mumbai in 1992. In 1999 he was elected as MLA from Bandra West and re-elected in 2004 and 2009. Throughout his career he held several ministerial positions in Maharashtra government.

Apart from real estate, Siddique’s assets also included luxury items like Mercedes Benz A 180 Sport and Mercedes Benz S-Class 350 L and jewellery worth over ₹6 crore. His wife too had assets, making the total family assets even higher.

Baba Siddique was married to Shehzeen Siddique. The couple had two children: daughter Arshia Siddique and son Zeeshan Siddique who is also into politics.
