According to the press release, New Cabinet includes 30 ministers whereas the council includes a total of 78 ministers
Several crucial ministries, including health, law, ICT, and railroads, have been given to new ministers and junior ministers who were promoted in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Council of Ministers, which was rebooted today.
The vital health ministry has been assigned to Mansukh Mandaviya.
He would also keep control of the Ministry of Chemical Fertilizers.
The Railways and Information Technology Ministry has been entrusted to Ashwani Vaishnav.
Kiren Rijiju has taken over the vital law ministry.
Jyotiraditya Scindia has been named Minister of Civil Aviation, a position previously held by his father Madhavrao Scindia.
Pashupati Kumar Paras who was in the limelight for the past few days has been given the Ministry of food processing industries.
As many as 43 leaders, including Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narayan Rane, and Sarbananda Sonowal, took the oath of office earlier today as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet enlargement. At a swearing-in ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan's Darbar Hall, fifteen Cabinet members were sworn in, including several new faces. Two members took the oath in English, while 13 took the oath in Hindi.
Ajay Bhatt, Bhupender Yadav, Shobha Karandlaje, Sunita Duggal, Meenakshi Lekhi, Bharati Pawar, Shantanu Thakur, LJP's Pashupati Paras, and Apna Dal's Anupriya Patel were among those who took the oath.
