AAP's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan arrested, ACB took action
As the chairman of the Waqf Board, the AAP MLA is accused of illegally renting out Waqf properties, wrongly recruiting 33 people in the Waqf Board and scam in vehicle purchase. ACB had registered a case in 2020.
AAP's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan has been arrested. This action has been taken by ACB. It is being told that due to no lockup in the ACB office, Amanatullah Khan will be kept in the lockup of the nearest Civil Lines police station at night. He will be produced in the concerned court after 12 o'clock in the morning. Also, ACB will appeal for the remand of Amanatullah Khan.
On Friday, the ACB team had raided the whereabouts of the MLA and his associates. Earlier, the ACB on Thursday issued a notice to Aam Aadmi Party leader Amanatullah Khan for questioning in a two-year-old case related to the Waqf Board.

There are allegations of disturbances between 2018 and 2020. In August this year, the ACB had written to the LG that Amanatullah should be removed from the post of Waqf Board chairman as he is very aggressive in nature and he is a criminal person.
Because of this no witness is ready to come against him. The ACB had also cited 23 criminal cases registered against him. ACB had called Amanatullah Khan for questioning. His interrogation was going on till the writing of the news.
