AAP Releases Lok Sabha Campaign Song: Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday launched its Lok Sabha campaign song, titled 'jail ke jawab mein hum vote denge', in response to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate.

In Delhi, party leaders introduced the song, written and sung by AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, at a party event.

With a similar theme, the party's Lok Sabha campaign is called 'Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se' (we will vote against jailing Kejriwal).

Pandey said that the lyrics of the song depict the reality of today's times. We always write campaign songs reflecting the mood of the common people.

According to the AAP leader, the song depicts the dangers people may encounter in the future. "If the BJP comes to power, they will change the Constitution. We hope the song will resonate with people," he added.

The song, according to Pandey, resonates with the core sentiments of the public, emphasizing how those opposing the BJP are incarcerated while those with influence are freed.

Additionally, the song addresses concerns about the privatization of public sector enterprises, such as ONGC, Coal India Ltd, and airports.

"If the BJP comes to power, they will change the Constitution... We hope that the song will resonate with the people," he said.

According to Delhi AAP convener Gopal Rai, 200 teams of volunteers have conducted door-to-door campaigns across four Lok Sabha seats in the 'Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se' campaign.

'Sankalp Sabhas' have been organized in which all sections of society pledge to vote in retaliation against Kejriwal's arrest.

"This Lok Sabha election has changed into a movement after Kejriwal arrest. People are anxiously waiting for May 25 when they will respond to the imprisonment of Kejriwal with their vote," Rai said.

The song will strengthen the campaign and play a vital role in mobilizing Delhiites, Rai said.
