5481 new cases of corona virus in Delhi, 3 death-infection rate 8.37 percent

The cases of corona virus (Covid19) are increasing day by day in the capital Delhi. On Tuesday, 5481 new cases have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours and 3 people have died. The total number of active cases in Delhi is 14889. Amidst the increasing cases of Corona and Omicron, a meeting of Delhi Disaster Management Authority was held on 4th January, in which the decision of weekend curfew has been taken.

In the capital of the country, the corona infection rate in Delhi has reached above 8 percent. In Delhi, 5481 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the last 24 hours and 3 patients have died. The active cases are 14889 and the positivity rate is 8.37%.

In view of the increasing threat of corona virus, the Delhi government has announced a weekend curfew on Tuesday, 4 January. Night curfew is already in force in the capital. Now the whole of Delhi will be closed on Saturday and Sunday under the Wicked Curfew.
