Giving information in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said that 439 terrorists were killed after the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. During this period 98 civilians and 109 security personnel were also killed and 541 incidents of terror took place.
The Union Home Ministry informed the Rajya Sabha that the number of organizations designated as terrorist organizations in India is 42. 31 persons have been listed as terrorists under Schedule IV of UAPA.
