360 Dynamic Young Leaders Chosen to Showcase India’s Spirit at World Youth Festival
New Delhi : Today marks a momentous occasion as 360 vibrant young Indians have been selected to represent the nation at the prestigious World Youth Festival 2024, scheduled to be held in Sochi, Russia, in March. This cohort of enthusiastic individuals will embody the diversity, creativity, and potential of India on the global stage, as they engage in cultural exchange and collaborative dialogue with youth from around the world.
The orientation session for these delegates was conducted at Dyal Singh Evening College, where they were greeted with enthusiasm and anticipation. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Iqbal Singh Laalpura, Chairman of the Minority Commission of India, and Mr. Tejasvi Surya, National President of BJYM and MP Bangalore South, who delivered inspiring speeches urging the youth to seize this unparalleled opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Mr. Laalpura, in his address, underscored the significance of the World Youth Festival as a platform for fostering mutual understanding and cooperation among nations. He emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future and encouraged the delegates to be exemplary ambassadors of India, showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and values on the global stage.

The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Varun Kashyap, Chairman of World Youth Festival India NPC, who revealed that the delegation of 360 youths has been aptly named ‘Bharat 360’. He expressed confidence in the collective potential of the team to leave a lasting impression and bring glory to the nation through their participation in various events and activities at the festival.
The event also saw the presence of Mr. Satish, Pracharak of RSS and handling Swadeshi Jagran Manch, dignitaries from the Russian Embassy, and the esteemed Principal Bhawan of Dyal Singh Evening College, who extended their best wishes to the delegates.
