The Government of India has started Operation Ganga to rescue its citizens trapped in Ukraine. Under this, Air India's aircraft AI 1940 has returned to Delhi with Indian students. Indian citizens stranded in Ukraine are being brought to India through Hungary. This plane also landed at IGI Airport from Budapest, the capital of Hungary. There were 240 students on the plane. This is the second plane to bring back students stranded in Ukraine.
