Treatment of journalists like criminals is unfortunate: BSPS

Patna : Bharti Shramjeevi Patrakar Sangh(BSPS trade union) has described the raids on the houses of journalists and people associated with Newsclick as extremely worrying. National spokesperson of the association, Mrs. Indu Bansal said that we are keeping an eye on the entire matter, we always stand with impartial and values ​​journalism.There can be no compromise on the sovereignty and integrity of the country. Bansal said that we demand from the government that the information about the entire matter should be shared with the media.

Mrs. Bansal said that BSPS has a clear view that there should not be any kind of pressure on the media.The fourth pillar of democracy can function independently and without fear. BSPS has said that if questions related to foreign exchange have come before the investigating agency, then journalists should cooperate fully in the investigation of the crime and legal action. BSPS has termed the working style of Delhi Police as unfortunate. The Sangh believes that before raiding the house of the accused, they should have been given summons and given an opportunity to present their side.It is unfortunate that journalists are treated like criminals.
