Cities like Mazatlán in Mexico, where the eclipse will begin early in the morning, as well as Dallas, Texas, where the maximum phase occurs around 13:42 local time, will be among the best viewing locations.

Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Indiana, Ohio, New York, and Maine will be on the eclipse path in the United States. During totality, the sun will be totally hidden by the moon, creating a dramatic and unforgettable spectacle at each location along this path.

There will be a partial eclipse at approximately 15:42 UTC, a full eclipse at approximately 16:38 UTC, and a maximum eclipse at approximately 18:17 UTC.

You can watch it live online and on NASA+, NASA TV, and NASA's website starting at 1 pm EDT (10:30 pm IST) on April 8.

At 11:47 PM IST on April 9, the maximum eclipse occurs. The partial eclipse ends at 2:22 AM IST and the full eclipse ends at 1:25 AM IST.
